Icon Post #1 -- Gift Icons

I've been making icons for a couple of years now. I originally started with GIMP but graduated to Photoshop CS2 after almost a year. Because I am self-taught, it was also nearly a year before I gained enough confidence to begin using or showing my icons to anyone.

In the past year or so, I've enjoyed the challenge of purposefully making icons at the request of--or as gifts for--others. Here are the gift icons I've made. They may not to be used without permission of the recipient.

Icon Post #2 -- Black & White Movies

I made the following 11 icons from screenshots of black and white movies over the last couple of years. As you can see, I experimented with several different colorization techniques.
